Entering the hidden variables

Hi everyone,

I’m making a shift in how I use this Substack.

Over time, I’ve realised that the work I’m most drawn to sits at the intersection of culture, symbolism, timing, and the hidden patterns that shape how we move through life. I’ll still be writing about the things that have always interested me, but I’m now organising the page around a clearer central thread: the idea that beneath the visible surface, there are deeper structures at work.

That’s where the idea of Hidden Variables comes in.

I’m interested in the moments when something doesn’t quite add up - when life feels like a 404, when the usual logic fails, when a situation seems blocked, charged, or strangely alive with meaning. Those are often the moments when the deeper pattern becomes most visible.

Going forward, this space will focus more directly on symbolic and cultural analysis, timing and pattern recognition, implicate-order style structures, and the practical ways these ideas can be applied in real life.

I’ll also be opening this up over time into more focused deep-dives and one-to-one consultative work for readers who want help unpacking a specific situation and seeing it more clearly.

The posts ahead will be more focused, more integrated, and more closely aligned with the work I’m here to do.
